First Shore Day of 2018

We love the Jersey Shore as you know! We were fortunate enough recently to be able to spend an afternoon there. We walked both the Seaside and Point Pleasent Boardwalk. Check out the video below of our time there.

A few things to note about this shore trip! We ate really well! We started at the Spicy Cantina in Seaside where we consumed margaritas, enchiladas, a burrito bowl, and tacos. You may recognize this place from MTV’s Jersey Shore because Jenni and Roger had a date there.

We explored the boardwalk and the Jersey Shore famous shore store where we saw Danny again.  We played games at the arcade and because of the Jon and the Willy Wonka Game we left with close to 900 tickets for our niece and nephew.

We then went over to my favorite ice cream stand Kohrs Bro. (which is celebrating 99 years this year) and ordered some tasty Orangeade. A sugary sweet orange juice that is sure to perk anyone up.

Over at Point Pleasent, we did a quick walk of the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk before heading over to Martells for dinner. This place has really good seafood! Both Jon and I had lobster and Tom had garlicky steamed clams. It was so good and the perfect way to unofficially kickoff summer!

After dinner, we took Jon home and drove to Tom’s Mom’s in NJ to spend the night. This is definitely the first of many shore trips this summer!
